Once you have placed an order for a SKETCHNBUILD item, you will be contacted via e-mail to confirm details of the delivery address as well as your contact number for a delivery appointment. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service and for you to get the most out of your purchase. Our Customer Service team members will review your order and contact you with estimated delivery date.
When your order is ready to leave our facilities, it will be assigned a PRO number by the Freight Carrier. This is the tracking number for your shipment. We will contact you with the tracking information and a website link where you will be able to monitor your shipment. The Freight carrier will contact you to request an appointment for delivery a few days in advance. For residential delivery, the freight company will provide a lift gate to off load your product. Large, oversized, or overweight items may not be suitable for lift-gate delivery. In this case, customers can collect the product at the Freight carriers’ terminal.
NOTE: When shipment arrives, inspect the shipment and do not accept delivery if it is damaged. Signing for or accepting damaged delivery holds you responsible for any damage that might have occurred during transport and no claims can be made to the Freight Company.
Document all damaged areas and send these in to our customer service department (firstname.lastname@example.org) for prompt processing. This will allow for us to put in a claim for the damaged item with the Freight company on your behalf.
The driver will deliver to curbside only. If you want the machine delivered within your premises, there is an additional charge- one that our customers generally find to be cost prohibitive. SKETCHNBUILD recommends that customers prepare for the shipment delivery by having the correct equipment and/or additional help ready as needed with the shipment.
We carefully select our carriers based on the safe and courteous delivery of your products at a reasonable price. However, occasionally damage may occur to a shipment. While this is rare customers are asked to follow a simple procedure that will expedite the claim process (if needed). We ask customers to notify us within 24 hours of any damage sustained to the packaging and or products. Customers can contact us at email@example.com.
If an order has one or more items on backorder, SKETCHNBUILD charges the item cost (plus applicable taxes) and shipping of the entire order total including the shipping cost for the item that is on backorder. Your purchase is then tracked by our customer Service team members and you will be informed on the orders progress and scheduled delivery times.
Delivery times are expected, not guaranteed. If payment authorization is delayed, in order to confirm payment or prevent fraud, SKETCHNBUILD reserves the right to delay shipments. Every effort will be made to ship at the soonest possible time.
THINGS TO KNOW
SKETCHNBUILD cannot ship to PO Box addresses. Weather delays and other circumstances may impact delivery time. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO, rural areas, and Puerto Rico, Guam or the Virgin Islands will take longer.
Shipping charges are non-refundable on processed orders. Shipping quotes are valid for 30 days. We are not a shipping company and all deliveries are negotiated and facilitated on your behalf by SKETCHNBUILD. We will assist in providing you with necessary documentation to file a claim, but will not be held liable for any damage to goods not caused by SKETCHNBUILD.
SKETCHNBUILD, INC shall not be responsible for any delay or damages in the delivery of, or failure to deliver, Goods due to causes beyond Seller’s reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of war or terrorism, enemy actions, hostilities, strikes, labor difficulties, embargoes, non-delivery or late delivery of materials, parts and equipment or transportation delays not caused by the fault of Seller, delays caused by civil authorities, governmental regulations or orders, fire, lightening, natural disasters or any other cause beyond Seller's reasonable control. In the event of any such delay, performance will be postponed by such length of time as may be reasonably necessary to compensate for the delay. It is the responsibility of the consumer to immediately notify us of any damages and to file a claim with the Freight Carrier.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for information.
